How it works
Thicker foods are proven to help reduce the symptoms of reflux. Aptamil Anti-Reflux is specially formulated with carob bean gum so that the milk is thicker in consistency. It is clinically proven to be thicker on preparation than other anti-reflux formulas, and it also stays thicker in your baby’s stomach.
What are reflux and regurgitation?
Reflux in babies occurs when the contents of the stomach move back into the oesophagus after feeding. Regurgitation (or possetting) means the stomach contents come up into your baby’s mouth.
If you think your baby has reflux, speak to your Healthcare Professional for advice.

We advise that all formula milks including the decision to start weaning should be made on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian, pharmacist or other professional responsible for maternal and child care, based on baby’s individual needs.
Do not use if your baby has been diagnosed with a cow's milk allergy.
Use Growing Up milk as part of a varied balanced diet from 1 year.
