      Pear Puree

      Serves: 2 portions

      Ingredients

      • 1 pear
      • 2 tsp Baby's usual milk (if needed)

      Method

      1. Wash and peel the pear.
      2. Cut into quarters, remove core and seeds and chop into small pieces.
      3. Place in a saucepan, cover with water and cook very gently on a low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
      4. Remove from heat, drain, allow to cool slightly and blend to desired consistency adding a few teaspoons of milk if a runnier consistency is required.

      Tip

      This is delicious stirred through some baby porridge. Once baby has tried various individual flavours on their own why not try a mixed fruit puree?
