Aptamil Baby Milks
Now with a palm oil free blend of oils
Here at Aptamil, we are celebrating 50 years of research. And because we are committed to supporting your unique feeding journey, we are constantly reviewing our recipes and looking to make improvements.
We removed palm oil from the blend of oils in our Toddler Milk in November 2021 and we are now removing it from the blend of oils in our Baby Milks as we know this is an important topic for parents who are searching for more sustainable options.
A change to our formulation, the same quality you know and trust.
When it comes to making decisions around feeding your baby, we want you to have all the information you need. Rest assured that this is the same Aptamil quality, just with:
- The removal of palm oil from the blend of oils used in our recipe.
- Small changes in the ingredients and amounts of vitamins and minerals.
- A new packaging design that’s clear and easy to read.
Baby formula is one of the most strictly regulated and tested food products in the world and we can assure you that both the current and updated Aptamil Baby Milks have been developed by our experts in early life science and are safe for babies.
Support you can rely on at every step of your feeding journey
To ensure our products are available to you, our current formulations will gradually be replaced by the Updated Formulation. You will be able to identify the new formulation on our new packaging design which is clearly labelled with an “UPDATED FORMULATION” symbol. You can expect to start seeing the Updated Formulation with a new package design in supermarkets nationwide from March 2022.
As with any formulation change, you or your baby may notice some small differences in smell, appearance or taste and/or a difference in your baby’s poo. This is completely normal but if you have any concerns, please contact our careline using the details at the bottom of this email.
Our experts are here for you to listen and give you personalised support and to answer any questions you might have about the updated formulation.
Important notice
Breastfeeding is best for babies. Infant formula is suitable from birth when babies are not breastfed. Follow-on milk is only for babies over 6 months, as part of a mixed diet and should not be used as a breastmilk substitute before 6 months. We advise that all formula milks including the decision to start weaning should be made on the advice of a doctor, dietitian, pharmacist or other professional responsible for maternal and child care based on baby's individual needs. Use Toddler milk as part of a varied, balanced diet from 1 year.
