By giving up before you try for a baby you will already be on the road to a healthier pregnancy. Life for a baby in the womb of a smoker is also very difficult and can cause a vast array of complications for baby for example poor growth. So by giving up before you try for a baby you will already be on the road to a healthier pregnancy.
There are lots of places to seek advice to help both you and your partner quit smoking. Your GP or Practice nurse is a good place to start.
