Aptamil® Recall Notice - Precautionary recall of some batches of Aptamil muesli

7th April  2021

We are recalling one batch of Aptamil muesli products. There are two affected varieties:

  • Aptamil Oats, Raisin & Apple Bircher Muesli 10+ months (275g) with a best before date of 16.01.22
  • Aptamil Multigrain & Fruit Bircher Muesli 10+ Months (275g) with a best before date of 16.01.22

The best before date can be found on the back of the pack below the barcode.

We are recalling these batches as a precaution because some packs have been found to contain pieces of apple stalk. Apple is one of the ingredients in these muesli products.  We are asking parents with any of these packs, with these exact best before dates, not to feed them to their babies.

We are sorry that this has happened. Nothing is more important to us than the quality and safety of our products. This incident is linked to one batch of dried apple used by our supplier as an ingredient in these muesli products. We regret that these products do not meet our usual high standards, and we have taken immediate action to ensure that our supplier continues to conform with our strict quality and food safety standards.

We would ask you to return any packets of Aptamil Oats, Raisin & Apple Bircher Muesli 10+ months (275g) and Aptamil Multigrain & Fruit Bircher Muesli 10+ Months (275g) with the best before dates listed above, to the store where they were purchased from or contact the store for a refund (with or without a receipt).

No other batches of this product or any other Aptamil products are affected.

The best before date can be found on the back of the pack below the barcode in the format DD.MM.YY

If the best before date on the pack is definitely one of those listed above, please do not feed it to your baby and return it to or contact the store where you bought it for a full refund. You do not need your original receipt and the store will process your refund without it.
