With all of this development going on it is important that you are eating a healthy balanced diet to support your baby's growth. You don't need to eat for two but you do need to be more conscious of the types of foods that you are choosing. Thiamin is an important B vitamin found in foods such as fish and wholegrain bread to include in your diet as it supports a healthy heart. Vitamins B6, B12 and riboflavin are all important vitamins for healthy blood. Including iron in your diet is also important for healthy blood and to help transport oxygen in the body.
