Aptamil® Profutura® formulation updates    happening since February 2020

Our team of scientists has developed our latest patented Aptamil® Profutura® formulations to reflect our most recent scientific advancements.  This update also includes changes to our First Infant Milk and Follow On Milk to meet new legislation which applies to all brands.

The formulations have been updating since February 2020 and will gradually replace the current ones in all retailers.  The packs containing the updated recipes will also have a new look and will be clearly labelled on the front of pack with “UPDATED FORMULATION”.

Baby formula is one of the most strictly regulated and tested food products in the world and we can assure you that both the current and soon-to-be reformulated products have been developed with our latest research in early life science and are safe for babies.

We understand any changes to your little one’s baby or toddler milk, no matter how big or small, can raise questions. You can find further information on the updates in our FAQs section.

If you have any further questions, please contact our dedicated Careline on the details below.

Important notice

Breastfeeding is best for babies. Infant formula is suitable from birth when babies are not breastfed. Follow-on milk is only for babies over 6 months, as part of a mixed diet and should not be used as a breastmilk substitute before 6 months. We advise that all formula milks including the decision to start weaning should be made on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian, pharmacist or other professional responsible for maternal and child care, based on baby’s individual needs.

Do not use if your baby has been diagnosed with a cow's milk allergy.

Use Growing Up milk as part of a varied balanced diet from 1 year.
