It can be hard when travelling to feed your baby when they are in the early stages of weaning. Here is a handy, no-cook, easy to make puree which is perfect for on-the-go or travelling. Banana’s are a great fruit to have in your bag ready to feed and avocados also pack and travel easily. All you need are these simple ingredients, a bowl and a spoon.

Banana and Avocado Puree

Suitable from 4-6 months onwards

Makes 2 portions


•1 banana

•½ avocado

1.Peel the banana and remove the stone and skin from the avocado.
2.Chop both into small pieces and mash to desired consistency adding some of baby’s usual milk or cooled boiled water if a runnier texture is needed.
