Cheesy spinach & tomato omelette

  • 1 egg
  • 4 cherry tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • Handful cheddar cheese (grated)
  • Handful spinach leaves
  • 1-2 tbsp Baby's usual milk
  • Olive oil


  1. In a bowl, break the egg and whisk together with the milk.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan on medium heat.
  3. Pour in the egg mixture to the pan and add the chopped spinach.
  4. Cook for 1-2 mins and then add in the cheese and tomatoes making sure to spread evenly.
  5. Continue to cook over a gentle heat until completely set.
  6. Transfer to the grill for a few minutes to brown the top.
  7. Allow to cool, slice and serve.

This recipe is not suitable for freezing so discard any leftovers. Well cooked eggs are suitable from 6 months of age and are a very versatile food rich in iron, protein and vitamin D.
