Why were the Aptamil formulations updated in 2019?

The legislation that sets requirements for the nutritional composition for infant, follow on formulas and specialist milks changed in February 2020. These changes apply to all brands, including Aptamil. The key purpose of the legislation change is to reflect the latest scientific understanding in infant nutrition and to update and harmonise rules across all European member states.
